From Star of David Bikers perspective, it has been a year of much progress. We have increased the number of members and made new friends. We rode in the Ride to Remember with the Jewish Motorcyclists Alliance to Savannah, Georgia and helped raise over $50,000 for Holocaust education, we sponsored the Star to Star event benefiting the American Friends of Magen David Adom and helped raise over $27,000, we kicked off Challah for Heroes where we delivered challahs and spent time with World War II veterans at the Brith Shalom House, and, just recently, we did the Schaliach Ride where we visited the cemeteries on behalf of those that could not.

It has also been a less active year where we did not do as many interesting rides as in previous years, be it due to weather or personal situations.

Some of our members went through turbulent times with personal and family health issues and even the loss of loved ones. But we also had very joyous events like children's Bar Mitzvahs and new additions to the family.

From my personal perspective, I have been blessed. I am grateful for my family and the support that they provide. I am grateful to you, my friends, for always being there in good times and sometimes not so great.

As we prepare for the High Holidays, we all try to make amends with the wrongs that we did the previous year. In this spirit, if I did anything to wrong you or hurt you, it was not my intent and I ask for your forgiveness.
